The Greeting Card Association (“GCA”), with which we are in affiliation, is appealing the public for their support in signing a petition to help safeguard the Royal Mail service. The petition calls the Government to amend legislation to require parliamentary scrutiny on any change to the Royal Mail’s Universal Service Obligation (USO), including issues such as unregulated price increases on first-class stamps. It is just short of 400 signatures, required by 10 April 2025 in order for it to progress to the next stage.
The GCA is an independent not for profit trade organisation that supports members such as greeting card publishers, retailers, individuals, and suppliers to the card industry. It promotes members and businesses by providing forums and specialist information, organising events for building relationships, and also represents the industry with organisations such as the Royal Mail.
The Royal Mail is a vital part of the greeting card industry and the GCA’s petition is in support of protecting it! You can show your support and sign the petition here.
