Social Media influencer and online retailer Christopher Martin has been banned from Disney World. Martin livestreamed the ordeal, which showed an Orange County Sheriff’s officer explaining to Martin that should he find himself on Disney’s property again, he will be arrested. Martin has used this video as an advertisement for his online retail store to sell more merchandise. That merchandise is the cause of another legal dispute Martin is facing with Disney. Martin and another co-accused, namely Hannah Martin are already embroiled in a dispute with Disney, who sued the pair back in December for alleged trade mark and copyright infringement. The Martins have been selling merchandise featuring Disney characters. The pair also allegedly applied for a trade mark at the United States Patent and Trademark Office for a mark which, according to Disney, resembles the Disneyland logo. The pair deny any wrongdoing on the grounds the use falls under the doctrine of fair use. It is to be seen how the matter will unfold.
