McLaren races to the UKIPO

McLaren Automotive Limited is a British automotive manufacturer based in Woking, England which is a subsidiary of the wider McLaren Group. McLaren focuses on bringing to the market innovative supercars, which are produced in-house in the designated production facilities at McLaren.

McLaren has filed a number of trade mark applications at the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (“UKIPO”) on 7 October 2021 for the applied for marks, ”Aeron”, “Aonic” & “Solus”. The applied for marks are applied against a number of goods in several classes, including “Motor land vehicles and parts and fittings therefor” and “clothing, footwear, headgear”.

What these new applied for marks relate to at McLaren is not yet known, however many fans of McLaren will be hoping to see the release of several new supercar models in the near future.
