Pursuant to a Court Order, the Mail on Sunday must print a front-page statement to acknowledge that the Duchess of Sussex was successful in her copyright claim against the newspaper giant.
The Order follows the Duchess’ successful claim against The Mail on Sunday concerning its decision to publicise extracts of the “personal and private letter” she wrote to her estranged father.
Further, the Associated Newspapers Limited, which oversees MailOnline and The Mail on Sunday, must also publish a statement to confirm that it had infringed the copyright of the Duchess.
Successful infringements give rise to a number of remedies, including the above Order.
