McDaniel & Co. is delighted to announce that Rozanna Head-Rapson has been appointed as a salaried Judge. Rozanna will take up her appointment in September 2018 and she will be based at Darlington County Court.
Rozanna undertook her training contract at Allen & Overy from 1993 to 1995 where she went on to become an Associate solicitor. She later moved to Nottingham where she specialised in matrimonial financial work. She developed a strong private practice and as time went on she developed a particular expertise in cases involving family law litigation with an emphasis on financial matters and private children’s cases. Rozanna was appointed as a fee-paid Judge in the Social Entitlement and Child Support Chamber in 2013, the Immigration and Asylum Chamber and the Court of Protection in 2014 and Special Educational Needs in 2016. She was appointed to the Tribunals Journal Editorial Board in 2017 and became a Judicial Tutor at the Judicial College in 2018.
“Although I am, of course, very sorry to be leaving the practice which I founded, I am really looking forward to the new challenges ahead. I have very much enjoyed my time at McDaniels, but I am now keen to embrace the new life and career that awaits me. As I leave McDaniels, I am delighted that there are now so many talented people there. I am honoured to have worked alongside so many excellent and dedicated people and confident a most successful future lies ahead for the firm.”
McDaniel & Co. wishes Rozanna all the very best for the future.
